Successful opening of my exhibition Become, Pass away, Become again
Successful opening of my exhibition werden, vergehen, wiederwerden, at Galerie Helena Vayhinger, Singen am Hohentwiel. A metaphysical encounter.
It was a very well attended exhibition opening with a wonderful introduction by Neil Schaar, only 17 years old. Neil impressed me very much and developed a completely new yet almost unused view of my work. His comments on a central aspect of my work, namely the examination of the work of Jacob Böhme, were really good. I will go into this again in a separate essay during the course of the exhibition.
After Neil's talk with me, there were many questions from the visitors, which I was happy to answer.
Many thanks to all who were there, especially to my gallery owner Helena Vayhinger, who did a great job managing everything despite what was certainly not an easy time for her, and to the mayor of Singen Bernd Häusler, who showed a lot of empathy with his speech at the beginning of the opening. My biggest thanks go to my girlfriend Kirsten, who is always by my side, accompanies me through all ups and downs, is my friend, advisor and my love. It's nice that you exist!
The exhibition, which can be seen until 2 September, will be accompanied by films and a discussion with Father Andreas Sturm, the former Vicar General of the Diocese of Speyer, which I am personally very much looking forward to. am Hohentwiel. A metaphysical encounter.
