My ‘Places with a Soul’ project on the ZDF television church service
I am delighted that my project idea, ‘Beseelte Orte’ (Places with a Soul), has now resulted in a truly wonderful televised church service, which was broadcast live on ZDF.
When Dean Axel Brecht asked me last year if I would like to exhibit my work in St Mary’s Church, I was sceptical at first, as I couldn’t quite picture it.
After giving it some thought, however, I came up with the idea of creating something for the parish community together with the children and young people from the Parish of the Assumption of Mary in Landau in the Palatinate. My fellow artist, Inessa Siebert, gave me active support in bringing the project to life and in working with the children.
